Blogging Begins!

Hello Internets, welcome to our blog!  Our little enterprise has come a long way since we sold our first lantern at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 2010.  If you ever get a chance to go, take it!  Those folks are some of the nicest in Texas, and that's saying something.  Back in the day, they gave us the confidence to carry on with our artistic selves and we are forever grateful.

Kerrville back in the day.

Kerrville back in the day.

Since then, we've traveled all over the country, from Tennessee to Michigan, Seattle and Portland, California and places in between.  We've been at festivalsart fairsmarkets,  and shows and we've made more friends than we could have imagined.  People really are pretty good, wherever you go.  Sweet Sister Sarah joined us a couple years ago and made it possible for us to keep up with demand while getting to have a blast working with her.   We weren't sure it could get any more interesting and then we went and had a baby.  Miss Meridian Scout Archer joined our lives last April and we're realizing that we're playing with a whole new deck!

So, thanks for your support so far.  It's been such a fun journey we only regret that we haven't been documenting more of it, which we're resolved to do here.  Watch this space for upcoming shows, new designs, hi-jinx and stuffs we find interesting.  And please comment - always nice to get some pixels back from the ether!
