Though pictured with a switch controlled base, all of our nightlights come with a light sensitive base that reacts to surrounding light levels. It will come on in the dark and shut off automatically when the lights turn on. This will ensure the 5 watt light bulb (that comes with the base) will last a very long time. If you would instead like a switch base, one can be purchased below. The switch base is included with the LED bulb add-on. We also have a rotating base available for outlets that are installed sideways or upside down.
